Both students and faculty at LaSalle University in Philadelphia are continuing to help a student celebrate her participation in the Summer 2009 Deaflympics in Taipei. And although participating is in itself an honor and an accomplishment, junior Kelly O'Steen did more than simply participate. She helped the US bring home a gold medal as a member of the Women’s Soccer team.
